Obituary
ELKHART — John T. Pickett, 44, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, May 18, from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident.
He was born Oct. 9, 1970, in Hammond.
Survivors include his wife, Tina K. (Holmes) Hall of Elkhart; one son, Tyler Price of Elkhart; three daughters, Braeton Pettit, Haley Pickett and Jersey McAnn, all of Elkhart; three brothers, James (Julie) Pickett, Duane (Som) Olsen and Shane Olsen, all of Biloxi, Miss; one sister, Robin Steuart of Ann Arbor, Mich.; father Howard Olsen of Biloxi; two stepchildren, Randy and Jenny Hall, both of Elkhart; seven step-grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon (Parker) Olsen.
John was employed in the RV manufacturing industry at Jayco Inc. in Middlebury.
The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the 7 p.m. Friday, May 22, celebration of life service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Inurnment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, in Rice Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of John to Riley Hospital for Children.
