EDWARDSBURG -- John Edward Mohler, 45, of 70077 Adamsville Road, died at 7 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 5, 2006) at his home of apparent diabetes complications.

He was born Oct. 27, 1960, in Indianapolis to Victor T. and Donna (Kellogg) Mohler. He married Debra K. Hout on July 6, 1996, in Middlebury.

She survives along with one son, Charles A. Mohler of Anderson and one brother, Randy (Rebecca) Mohler of Elkhart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Cremation will take place.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Katurah Johnson will officiate.

Mr. Mohler was formerly employed at EFP Corp, Voyager, NIBCO and Wal-Mart in Elkhart. He also worked many years for Multi Foods in Anderson.

He attended Bethel United Methodist Church.

Mr. Mohler loved camping, fishing, woodworking, auto repair and tending to his flowers.
