John M. Majewski Jr., 68, formerly of Oak Lawn and Orland Park, IL passed away peacefully at home in Bristol, IN under hospice care after a lengthy illness.

John was born on June 30, 1956 in Chicago, IL to John M. Majewski Sr. and Geraldine (Chalus) Majewski.

He is preceded in death by his father, John in 1982 and Elizabeth A. Majewski of 1987.

John is survived by his wife of 45 years of marriage, Jane (Biller) Majewski; children, John M. Majewski III, Kathryn L. Majewski and Mary F. Majewski-Rhodes (Mitchell); grandchildren, Andrew Majewski, Owen Rhodes and Colin Rhodes; sisters, Dr. Karen (Matt) Majewski and Mary L. Majewski (Joe); and beloved dog, Duke of Bristol.

John was raised in the Chicago area for much of his early life. He graduated from Oak Lawn Community High School and graduated with a graphic arts degree at Governors State University. He was a food packaging graphic manager at ConAgra in Oakbrook, IL, retiring in 2017.

John attended St. Mary's the Apostle Catholic Church in Bristol. He was an avid Chicago White Sox fan. John was proud of his Polish heritage and carried it on with his famous soup recipes.

John lived a simple life full of love towards his wife and children. With his family being very important to John, he supported his children by attending sporting events and school marching band performances.

There will be no formal services for John. A burial will be held at a later date at St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL.
