John L. Larkin, 67, of Elkhart, went to His Lord and Savior, Jesus on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Valley View Healthcare in Elkhart.

John was born on July 23, 1956 in Sikeston, MO to the late Guy and Alberta Larkin.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Alberta Larkin, brother, Bobby "Joe" Larkin and sister, Ida Larkin.

John is survived by his brother, Guy (Hattie) Larkin Jr., of Phoenix, AZ, sisters, Sally (Elbert) House of Elkhart, Betty Cannon of Denver, CO and Emma Larkin of Elkhart; Uncle Leroy (Joanne) Stewart and a host of nieces and nephews.

John was a factory worker at Elkhart Foundry. He enjoyed watching basketball and football in his spare time and catching up with his daytime shows.

John was a quiet man yet loveable and made people laugh.

John admired nice cars and he was a sharp dresser.

A Home Going Service for John will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, October 10,      2023 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 with Pastor Cheryl MacIntosh of River of Life Church officiating.

Visitation will be one hour before the start of the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
