Obituary
ELKHART — John Allen Craigo, 43, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, June 16, in his residence.
He was born Nov. 25, 1970, in Elkhart to Robert L. and Anna L. (Sailor) Craigo.
Survivors include two brothers, Jacob Craigo of Elkhart and Andrew (Kailey) Craigo of Portland, Ore.; maternal grandmother Susan Sailor of Elkhart; three aunts, Maria (Ron) Walter, Therese Sailor and Cathy Sailor, all of Elkhart; and six uncles, Leonard (Pam) Sailor of Mishawaka, Paul Sailor, Mike Sailor, Joe Sailor, Steve (Glenda) Sailor and Louis Sailor, all of Elkhart.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Sailor, and his paternal grandparents, John and Mary Lamarca.
John was employed at jj Babbitt Co. for several years. He was an avid chess player and a member of the United States Chess Federation.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to John's work family at jj Babbitt for their love and care of John throughout his employment with them.
The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21,celebration of life service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. The Rev. Jason Freiburger of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church will officiate. Interment of his cremated remains will be in St. Vincent Cemetery at a later date.
