ELKHART — Joanne K. Hurley, 71, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday morning, Nov. 6, 2011, at the home of her daughter, Tracy Harder.
She was born Feb. 29, 1940, in Elkhart to the late Robert and Frances (Swihart) Aller. She married Lawrence E. Hurley on May 11, 1996 in Elkhart. He passed away in 2006.
Surviving are a daughter, Tracy (Archie Fobear) Harder of Bristol; sons James Rinaldi and Gil Harder II, both of Elkhart; and four grandchildren, Burgundy Rinaldi, Aluisha Mais, Jessica (Travis) Brimhall and Colton Enos. Brothers Jerry (Carol) Aller of Elkhart and Larry (Nancy) Aller of Littleton, Colo.; and a sister, Sharon (Ron) Blyly of Osceola, survive as well.
Her husband, Gilbert E. Harder; brothers Rex and Dickie Aller; and a sister, Janet Connah, preceded her in death.
Joanne was a homemaker and formerly worked at Omega Industries and Kmart in Elkhart. She was an avid reader and enjoyed painting and spoiling her grandchildren.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place with private services at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home.
