ELKHART — Joan Neff, 89, of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday evening, Feb. 23, at Elkhart General Hospital after a sudden illness.
Joan was born on July 7, 1926, in Elkhart, to the late Lester and Georgia (Puterbaugh) Miller. She married Robert R. Neff on April 16, 1960; he died on July 17, 2006.
Surviving are her daughters, Tracy (Alan) Mitchell of Goshen and Cindy (Ron) Sekora of Elkhart; two grandsons; two nieces; and three granddogs, Mikey, Ally and Kylie.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert "Bob" Haskins; sister Barb (Richard) Cunningham; and a brother, Jack Miller.
Joan worked at CTS for 35 years. She was a member of the CTS Quarter Century Club. She enjoyed watching soap operas, shopping on QVC and eating out with her friends. Joan was also an avid Notre Dame Football fan.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, with inurnment at Rice Cemetery at a later date.
