Jimmy Frank Robinson, 64, of Elkhart, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025.

Born on September 24, 1960, in Osceola, Arkansas, Jimmy was the beloved son of the late Eddie McElroy and Cleola Robinson.

He is preceded in death by his siblings: Theodore R. Robinson, Eddie Robinson, Jr., Leroy Robinson, Sadie Pegues, Ella M. Peoples, and Leslie Walls.

Jimmy's life was full of heart, laughter, and dedication.

He is survived by his loving children, Sukara Mose of Camby, IN and Jermirah L. Bratcher of Atlanta, GA; his cherished grandchildren, Akira and Zaire Mose; and the children he helped raise with love, Ebony Arnold and Annika Key. He also leaves behind his longtime partner turned dear friend, Anita Calhoun; his siblings Willie Robinson, Lelia Neely, Ollie Hurt, Delois Barnes, and Dorothy Robinson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

A proud graduate of Elkhart Central High School's Class of 1978, Jimmy went on to work at Miles Bayer for 25 years as a dedicated chemical mixer. He was a man of many talents—an avid fisherman, a skilled basketball player, and a master in the kitchen or behind the grill.

Jimmy could fix just about anything, always ready to lend a hand with a tool or a clever solution.

His wisdom, warmth, and generosity were constants in the lives of those around him. He was a man who listened without judgment, gave advice with kindness, and made others laugh with his sharp sense of humor.

Above all, Jimmy was a family man. He adored his grandchildren and took great pride in

watching them grow. His presence, his stories, and his quiet strength will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

There will be no visitation or services at this time.
