Jimmy Kirkendall, 62, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, March 9, 2019. He was born on February 16, 1957 to the late Bernice (Kirkendall) Bell in Chicago, IL.

He is survived by two daughters, Jaime Kirkendall and Teresa Taylor; Aunt, Geraldine Kirkendall; and cousins, Keith Jones, Drina Logan, and Sharon Gray. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren including one on the way.

In accordance with the family's wishes, cremation will take place at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Elkhart. A private family gathering to celebrate his life will take place at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Jimmy Kirkendall funeral fund.

Jimmy proudly served his country in the Army National Guard and worked at Plumrose in Elkhart as a line worker for many years. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
