JessieMae was a loving and caring mother who worked hard throughout her life. At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ into her life and grew up attending New Macedonia Baptist Church in Chicago. JessieMae loved to sing in her youth and her favorite song to sing was “Precious Lord.”
She attended Howland Elementary School, Hess Upper Grade Center, and later Harrison High school in Chicago. JessieMae briefly attended Malcom X College and worked at the United Center of Chicago. She was a current member of the Ambassadors for Christ Church.
In her free time, she enjoyed being a home body where she could spend time with her family in the comfort of her own home and cook a good meal. Every once and awhile, she enjoyed bowling with her family. JessieMae enjoyed joking around with her close friends and family and over all loved to laugh. Occasionally she would go out to eat with her family, especially if the restaurant had a great seafood menu. JessieMae will be dearly missed by her loving family and many friends.
