Jessica Faye Tubbs, 28, passed away Friday, evening, October 29, 2021 from injuries in an automobile accident, her sons Mark and Jaxon also passed away in this accident.
Jessica "Red" was born on December 10, 1992 in Elkhart to Edward L. Tubbs and Teresa F. (Whalen) Barnes. She attended Elkhart Central High School and was working at Forest River, Inc. in the final finish department. She had formerly worked at Riverside Village in activities, as well as Vista Co.
Surviving is her mother Teresa F. Barnes, daughter Maliyah Faye Copley, bothers, Clayton (Sarah) Tubbs, Edward Tubbs Jr., Travis Tubbs, and step-brother Steven (Gina) Barnes; grandparents Edna & Jim McCluckie, Floyd & Barb Whalen; nieces Lilly, Madison, Alexa and nephews, Luke, Landon; uncles, aunts, and tons of close cousins. Jessica was preceded in death by her father Edward L. Tubbs, grandfather JL Tubbs and her aunt Laura McCluckie.
She was a huge University of Michigan and Dallas Cowboy fan. She loved to shop and had an impressive shoe collection. Jessica loved caring for her residents in the nursing home. She loved family cookouts and always had iced coffee in hand. She loved music and was a big fan of Kevin Gates, every time she picked a song, it was always a song by Gates. Jessica will be remembered as a charismatic, fiery woman, who was not afraid of her brothers or anyone else. She would step up to anyone or anytime. She was an amazing mother who would drop anything and everything for her babies. A loving daughter, caring sister, who will be greatly missed by all the people whose lives she touched. "Woo Woo!"
Services for the Copley and Tubbs family will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, beginning at Noon (12'o'clock") with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. until service time, at Crossroads Community Church, 57415 Alpha Drive, Goshen, IN 46528. Pastor Tim Fisher and Pastor Mike Elsey will officiate. Burial will follow at Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen.
