ELKHART — Jessica Jane Shultz, 34, of Elkhart, passed away early Thursday, May 10, 2012, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Jessica was born July 10, 1977, in Elkhart.

She is survived by her father, Jerry Shultz; her mother and stepfather, Carol and "Papa Keith" Logan of Elkhart; her companion, Greg Collins; stepson Dustin (Amanda) Collins; and two stepgrandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers; two sisters; grandparents Richard and Deloris Max; grandmother Stella Shultz; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, all of Elkhart.

Jessica was a 1995 graduate of Elkhart Central High School. She turned her love for people and ability to make them laugh into a rewarding career as a caregiver at ADEC for several years. Jessica loved her family and friends, traveling around the country and her teddy bears.

Friends may call for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, service to celebrate Jessica's life. Pastor Ed Ritchie will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Olive East Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorials may be given to the family in care of Billings Funeral Home.
