Jerry Wayne Pendleton, 79, of Elkhart, passed away Friday evening, February 9, 2024 in the comfort of his home surrounded by love and family. Jerry was born on April 29, 1944 in Manchester, Tennessee to the late Edward L. and Bessie Mae (Davenport) Pendleton. In addition to his parents, a son Eric Ray Pendleton, daughter Vickie Webster, and two brothers Larry "Mike" Pendleton and Jimmy R. Pendleton preceded him in death. Jerry married his best friend and true love Fay Lingo, she survives as well as a son Chadd (Tricia) Pendleton; three loving grandchildren, Braiydin Pendleton, Clayton Pendleton, Callen Pendleton; brother Joe (Alice) Pendleton, sister Donna (Bill) Bailey, and will be especially missed by his faithful companion LuLu.

Jerry formerly worked as a lead man in the RV -Travel Trailers Industry for many years. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and like to rebuild old Wheel Horse tractors, most of all, his family and grandchildren were the center of his life.

Funeral services for Jerry will begin at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 15, 2024, with visitation starting at 11:00 am until service time, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart. Pastor Ed Ritchie will officiate. Burial will follow at Carleton Cemetery. If so desired, memorials are kindly requested to Riley Children's Foundation.
