Mr. Jerry Joe Campbell, Jr., 57, of Goshen, passed away peacefully of natural causes  at his home on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 4:00 am. He was born in Elkhart on August 11, 1963 and was the son of Jerry Joe, Sr., who survives Jerry Jr. along with his wife Roberta, and his mother Ruth (Flowers) Campbell, who precedes Jerry Jr. in death.

Besides his father and step-mother, Jerry leaves behind sisters Valerie Campbell of Florida and Joetta Martin of Elkhart, as well as his roommate David Bowen and a host of loving extended family and friends.

Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart have been assisting the family with arrangements, and, in accordance with Jerry Jr.'s wishes, cremation is to take place

Jerry worked as a driver for ACE cab in Elkhart and in Goshen for over 10 years and became a dispatcher after that until a disability required his early retirement. He was a diehard NASCAR fan and enjoyed college football, especially the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. He also liked his daytime TV, including Days Of Our Lives and the Ellen DeGeneres Show, visiting the casinos and sitting down to a good meal. He will be best remembered for his ever-present sense of humor.
