Jerry Allen Beathea, Sr., passed away on July 26th, 2024 at the age of 58. Jerry was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether it was working with his hands, sharing a joke, or enjoying music at full volume. His creativity, quick wit, and ever-present sly smile made him a magnetic presence, cherished by all who knew him.

Born on November 18, 1965, to Ruth Beathea-Bean in Niles, Michigan, Jerry was the eldest of three sons and grew up surrounded by a loving extended family. His hands were often busy with projects or repairs, reflecting his unwavering curiosity and skill.

Jerry's humor and charm were legendary, with a remarkable ability to make any gathering more lively and entertaining. He had a special gift for turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories, and his infectious laugh was a hallmark of his personality.

His life was marked by a profound passion for living fully and loving deeply. Jerry's greatest legacy is his children, who carry forward his best attributes and values.

Jerry is survived by his brothers, Bryan Beathea and Edward (Kim) Beathea; his children, Brandon Beathea, Jennifer (Beathea) Walker, Jerry Beathea Jr., Jerry "JJ" Beathea Jr., Jerron Beathea, Jayla Beathea, and their families; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his greatest love, his mother, Ruth Beathea-Bean.

A private memorial service to celebrate Jerry's life will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association.
