ELKHART -- Jennifer Lynn Harness-Gravit, 37, of Elkhart, died at 6 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 29, 2009) in Riverside Terrace after a sudden illness.

She was born May 24, 1972, in Elkhart to James L. and Joan (Mulcahey) Harness, both of whom preceded her in death. On Feb. 1, 1999, she married Timothy J. Gravit in Goshen.

He survives along with one sister, Julie (Chet) Nunan of Cassopolis, Mich.; and one brother, James (Robin) Harness of Guilford.

Mrs. Harness-Gravit was a homemaker and 1990 graduate of Elkhart Central High School. She was an avid animal lover who owned three cats.

No visitation or funeral service are planned at this date. A private family gathering will take place. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
