Jen'a Louise Atwell, 65, of Elkhart passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at her home.

Jen'a was born on November 22, 1960 in Elkhart, IN to Harold Leroy Michalski and Barbara Louise (Davis) Lung.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Scott Teague.

Jen'a is survived by her children, Corey Atwell, Brooke M. Teague and bonus son, James Scott; adored grandchildren, Dayton Teague, Devin Scott and Deandre Scott; brother, Harold "Butch" Michalski;  "sister wife", Tina Alder; father to her son, Chuck Atwell  and many friends whom meant the world to her.

Jen'a graduated from Elkhart Central High School, class of 1979. She was a driver's examiner at the Elkhart and Goshen branch of the BMV for 18 years. Jen'a also worked at Aldi's in Elkhart. Jen'a had a strong faith and she was Baptized at Granger Community Church later in life.

Jen'a enjoyed going to live concerts with friends, especially her favorite, Keith Urban. Her favorite destination was going to the beach, even living in Myrtle Beach, SC for 3 years. She loved taking photos of the light houses. Jen'a also enjoyed shopping with her mom, Barbara.

Jen'a loved to travel, with Hawaii being her favorite trip of all time. She lived a carefree life and appreciated nature, especially cats, birds and flowers.

Jen'a was a carefree, kind and sweet. She treated friends like family and will be missed.

There will be a celebration of life service held at a later date.
