ELKHART —Jeffrey Allen "Jeff" Malcom, 52, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017 at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born on June 6, 1965 in Elkhart to Roger D. Malcom and Susan L. (Lavrich) Schlabach.

Surviving are his children, daughter, MacKenzie P. McKibbin, son, Nolan J. Malcom; two grandchildren Aila Rose and Aiden Valentino Lichti; father Roger D. Malcom, mother Susan L. (Harry) Schlabach; sisters, Carrie (Tod) Lapierre and Stephanie Malcom.

Jeff was preceded in death by a son AJ Malcom.

Jeff graduated from Elkhart Memorial High School in 1983.

He worked in the RV Industry for Forest River and as an automobile salesman.

His true love was cooking and being a "chef."

He formerly worked at the Big Easy and Malcom's Pub for his father.

Jeff loved all sports and had many friends.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.

Cremation will follow the gathering.
