Jeffrey Lane Haynes, 51, of Elkhart, passed away, suddenly on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at his home.

Jeff was born on November 1, 1969 to Willie Joseph Haynes and Helen (Dunn) Eastman. He is married to Lura (Ingle) Haynes on May 25, 2019 in Elkhart. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie and granddaughter, Emily.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Lura of Elkhart; mother, Helen Eastman of Elkhart; children, Brian Lloyd of Mishawaka, Jessie Waterson of Nappanee, Ashley (Michael) Roberts of Elkhart and Christina (Jeremy) Cassidy of Mishawaka; grandchildren, Dale, Homer, Westin, Joshua, Justin, Lindsey, Cierra and Violet; and Uncle Melvin and favorite nephew, Joshua Phillips, both of Texas.

Jeff was a night foreman at Elkhart Steel and on the production line at E.K. Blessings Co. He was a member of Trinity Praise and Worship Church. Jeff was passionate about music. He was a talented guitarist, drummer and singer in many local rock bands including White Haven band and Omega. Jeff enjoyed drawing people's portraits in his spare time. He was a very social and loved to talk. Most of all, he adored his family especially his children and grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or services. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN is assisting the family.
