Alyce "Jean" Schieber, 79, of Osceola, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Jean was born on May 21, 1946, to Ralph and Martha Gardner, who precede her in death.

On July 3, 1965, she married the love of her life, William "Bill" Schieber. They shared 43 years of marriage before Bill's passing in 2008.

Jean had a gentle heart and a creative soul. She loved animals and spent countless hours crafting, especially making and painting ceramics. She enjoyed relaxing at home with her favorite TV shows and movies, always with a cup of French vanilla coffee in hand. She also found peace outdoors, whether walking in the woods or tending to her flower garden.

Above all, Jean said that raising her children was her proudest accomplishment.

She is survived by her three children: John (Kristie) Schieber, Jason (Tanya) Schieber, and Lisa (Tim) Farinella. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Jean is also survived by her brothers Ralph (Elaine) Gardner and Danny (Kathy) Gardner, and is preceded in death by her brother Martin Gardner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Creekside Village.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Creekside Village for the compassionate care they provided during Jean's time there.
