BRISTOL — Jean R. Pedler, 66, of Bristol, passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
She was born March 9, 1946, to Curtis E. and Bella R. (Slater) Mann in Norwich, England. On May 31, 1964, she married the love of her life, David L. Pedler Sr., in Elkhart. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2012.
Survivors include a daughter, Diana L. Pedler of Wolcottville; two sons, David L. (Madelyn) Pedler Jr. of Osceola and Michael B. (Chrystal) Pedler of Union, Mich.; sister Linda (Melvin) Bowers of Union; brother Curtis E. (Jennifer) Mann Jr. of Elkhart; nine grandchildren, Vanessa and Shannon Johnson, Brittany (Anthony) Grady, Ciera Pedler, Kalie Goddard, Lindy Goddard, Brandon Stringfellow, Jaimie Stringfellow and Austin Pedler; and one great-grandson, Kingston Devenney.
Jean was employed with Chase Bank as a teller for more than 28 years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Escapees RV Club and Good Sam's Club.
In addition to traveling throughout the U.S. in a motorhome, Jean enjoyed spending time with family and friends at her lake house.
Cremation has taken place at Altera Cremation Services. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
