GOSHEN — Jean A. Merry, 75, of Goshen, passed away peacefully at Goshen General Hospital on Monday, July 2, 2018.

She was born, in Elkhart, Dec. 13, 1942, to the late Thomas and Wanda (Mercer) Cox, and married Loren Merry on Dec. 26, 1959, in Gary. He passed away in 1993.

She is survived by her children, Leana Males and William Merry; granddaughter Megan (Eric) Kaiser; great-grandchildren Madison and Lincoln Kaiser; and a sister, Betty Jo (Richard) Brown.

Grandsons Timothy and Benjamin Males and four brothers preceded Jean in death.

A gathering of friends and family will be at Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 5.

Granddaughter Megan Kaiser will lead a closing prayer at 7 p.m.

She enjoyed bingo, playing games on her computer and spending time with her family.

Memorials may be given to the Jefferson Township Fire Department.
