GOSHEN — Jason H. Owens, 40, of Goshen, passed away Thursday afternoon, Dec. 26, 2013, in his residence.
Jason was born Sept. 19, 1973, in Evansville to Cheryl (Reitmeyer) Owens.
He married Melanie K. Irelan on Aug. 3, 1996, in Goshen.
Melanie survives, as do their children, Austin F. and Taylor L. Owens, at home; his mother, Cheryl Combs of Cory; brother Craig Owens of Florida; grandparents John and Fern Reitmeyer of Cory; and an aunt, Jennifer Reitmeyer of West Lafayette.
Jason was a manager for several area Walgreens stores for 12 years. He graduated from Indiana State University in 1996 with a B.A. in business. Jason enjoyed hunting, fishing and classic cars. He owned a 1966 Ford Mustang.
Services celebrating Jason's life will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, with calling starting at 9 a.m., at Bristol United Methodist Church, 201 S. Division St., Bristol. The Reverend Red Stayton will officiate.
In keeping with Jason's wishes, cremation has taken place.
