IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jason Eugene
Bleiler
June 20, 1983 – March 12, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Jason Eugene Bleiler, born June 20, 1983, in Elkhart, Indiana. Jason passed away doing one of his greatest passions—riding his motorcycle. He was the beloved son of Bonnie Swinehart (Mark) and Pat Bleiler (Tanya), and a fiercely devoted, loving father to his two sons, Atticus and Dexter with their mother Joyce Yoder, as well as his two stepsons, Ethan and Ashton. Jason was an incredibly proud and devoted father who cherished his family above all. His love for his children was immeasurable, and his energy and passion were felt by all who knew him. He was also deeply connected to his siblings: sisters, Autumn, Jamie, Brianna, and brother, Zach, and his numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts. A Marine Corps veteran, Jason proudly served his country for four years after high school, including a deployment to Afghanistan. His commitment to service and his country remained a defining part of his character, and he was respected by all who knew him for his dedication, strength, and courage. Jason's love for life was evident in everything he did. He had an undeniable passion for cooking and loved experimenting in the kitchen, delighting family and friends with his culinary creations. His boundless energy and infectious laughter were part of what made him so special to everyone around him. He had a unique ability to light up any room with his humor and vibrant personality. In addition to his love for cooking, Jason had a deep connection to motorcycles. Riding gave him freedom and joy, and he spent countless hours on the open road, doing something that brought him immense happiness. His passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his memory will live on through the laughter, love, and experiences he shared with those closest to him. Jason is survived by his sons, siblings, parents, and extended family, all of whom will miss him deeply. A visitation for friends and family will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday, March 18th at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, March 19th at Billings Funeral with full Military honors that will immediately follow the service.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. For those that wish to send a condolence or share a memory they may do so at www.billingsfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a trust fund to be established in his Son's names.
Jason's spirit, love for life, and laughter will remain in the hearts of his loved ones forever
