ELKHART — Jasmine Marie Kidder, 2 1/2, of Elkhart, passed away at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at 4:40 p.m. after a lifelong illness.
The daughter of Amanda Jean Kidder of Elkhart, Jasmine was born Dec. 12, 2008, in South Bend.
Also surviving are a sister, Hailey J. Kidder; her grandmother, Debra L. (Eric Stout) Kidder, with whom she resided; great-grandmother Marlene Smith; and her Aunt Kenya (fiancée Terry Reiff) Kidder, all from Elkhart.
In accordance with family wishes, Jasmine has been cremated. A memorial celebration of her life will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at Belmont Mennonite Church, 925 Orchard St. (off of Ren Street) in Elkhart. Pastor Russell J. Jensen will officiate. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting the family with arrangements.
Donations made on behalf of Jasmine's memory may be given to Riley Hospital for Children of Indianapolis.
