Jared Andrew Towns, 25, of Elkhart and Phoenix, Arizona tragically passed away on October 17, 2021. He is survived by a daughter, Mayleia Faith Towns, of Phoenix; parents, Laura (Sickels) Towns & Larry Towns, of Phoenix (formerly of Elkhart), a sister, Joette Towns, of South Bend; a brother, Ryan Towns, of Brooklyn, New York; a niece, Maya Towns, of South Bend; aunts, Elizabeth (Paul) Phillips of Bristol, Dawn Yoder of Elkhart, and Vera Beard of Chicago; uncles, Felix (Beth) Sickels of Syracuse and Andrew Towns of Maricopa, Arizona; multiple cousins and friends. Being Daddy to four-year-old Mayleia was the joy of Jared's life and what he was most proud of. Jared loved deeply, was tender hearted and generous, loyal to family and friends. He had an infectious smile and was always quick to offer a hug. He was a sports enthusiast and loved music. Jared's passing is a profound loss to those he leaves behind. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October, 23, 2021, at Agape Missionary Baptist Church, 248 W. Wolf Avenue, Elkhart. Family friend, Pastor Eileen Thomas, of Olivet AME Church of South Bend, will officiate.
