Janet Jean Grise, 88, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at The Brickyard Health and Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 1:00 am. She was born in Elkhart on June 20, 2024 to the late Adam and Vera (Rogers) Loucks and is also preceded in death by her husband Glenn R. Hertsel, Sr.

Surviving Janet are her children Glenn R. Hertsel, Jr. of Elkhart and Vicky (Randy) Wozniel of White Pigeon.

In accordance with Janet's wishes, cremation has taken place with the assistance of Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart. No immediate services have been planned at this time.
