Jane Ann Shorter, 77, of Elkhart, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at her home.

Jane was born on June 7, 1944 to Norman and Annabelle (Baker) Thomas in Culver, IN. She married to her loving husband, Terry Shorter on May 2, 1987 in Louisville, KY.

Jane is survived by her husband, Terry of Elkhart; children, Aaron Lewis of Elkhart, Brian (Beth) Shorter of Fishers, IN, Susan (Kenny) Christner of Pierceton, IN and Angie Lewis of Elkhart; grandchildren, Emily and Sara Christner, Neil (Natalhali) Christner, Clarissa (Sean) Lewis, Riley and Addison Shorter and great grandson, Drendin Briggs.

Per the family's request, there will be no visitation or services for Jane. Cremation will take place. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
