She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Manahan, and Joseph Crowl, as well as 3 brothers, James, Warren and John Boner and sisters, Dorothy Kistler, Kathryn Umbaugh, Elizabeth Wharton, and Pauline Locks.
Surviving are three daughters, Rebecca (John) Batti, Barbara (Larry) Clark, Nancy (Al) Sellers and stepdaughter, Joanne (Tim) Heestand; a sister, Maxine Iverson; two grandchildren, Brian (Rachel) Batti and Mark Batti; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, Maddox, and Dominic Batti; also 3 step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was a very active and the oldest member of the First Brethren Church of Elkhart and very strong in her religious beliefs. Jane had many friends. She used to sew and do other crafts. Her proudest accomplishment was her family. She was known for making the most delicious cookies, selling them for 25 cents per dozen. She enjoyed telling stories about growing up on a farm. A local school in Mishawaka (Boner School) was named after her family because it was on their land.
