Janae Ann Lawrence, 64, of Elkhart passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026 at her home.

Janae was born on March 22, 1962 in Elkhart, IN to the late, Lester LeRoy Brown and Mary Irene (Oaks) Brown.

Janae is survived by her daughter, Rose Marie (Rob) Bertrem and her close sisters, Tonya Marie Emmerson and Lauree Brown and many extended family members.

In her early years she enjoyed travelling in a truck with her wife especially in Colorado. She was a group leader at Americart. In her spare time, Janae listened to country music.

There will be no services at this time.
