Jamie Ray Peffley, 35, of Elkhart, IN passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at his home.

Jamie was born on August 21, 1989 in Mishawaka, IN to David S. Peffley, Sr. and Ann (Waugh) Ickes.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Peffley Sr. on August 22, 2019 and brother, Steve Waugh in 2011.

Jamie is survived by his mother, Ann (Mike) Ickes of Elkhart; wife, Bailey Peffley of Elkhart; girlfriend, Kim Mull of Elkhart; adored daughters, Harlee Peffley, Nova Peffley and Peyton Williams; brothers and sisters, Dean Waugh, David (Amy) Peffley Jr., Tyler (Brittney) Peffley, Keith Peffley (Victoria), Alex (Eric) Wagner and Brittney Peffley (Scott); and extended family and friends whom he loved dearly.

Jamie worked in the R.V. industry his entire life. He was a talented man who could be found tinkering with anything mechanical and with a motor. Jamie was a car enthusiast and enjoyed going to the races. Cookouts and bon fires with family and friends was a favorite past time.

Jamie would give the shirt off of his own back. He may have been stubborn at times but it was done in love.

Friends and family may visit on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514.
