LAKEVILLE — Jamie K. Hapner, 49, of Lakeville, passed away at the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart on Friday, June 8, 2018, following an extended illness.

She was born in Seminole, Oklahoma, Oct. 11, 1968, to the late James and Sharon (Jackson) Birks.

Surviving is her loving husband of 21 years, Dean Hapner; her daughter Edith K. Hapner; grandson Wyatt Hapner and aunts and uncles Thomas (Glenna), Tony, Dick (Mona) and Keith (Doris) Jackson.

In accordance with Jamie's wishes, no services have been planned and cremation is to take place.

Burial will be at a later date.

Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is assisting with arrangements.
