ELKHART — James E. "Jim" Wyatt Jr., 73, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 20, at the Morningside Nursing and Memory Care Center in South Bend following an extended illness.

He was born in Mammoth, W. Va., on Jan. 24, 1942, to the late James E. and Catherine M. (Lester) Wyatt Sr.

Surviving are daughters Catherine "Cathy" Kelsey and Deb Seiger, both of Elkhart; brother Paul D. Wyatt of Goshen; grandchildren Reaunna (Baana), Cassandra "Cassie", Erin and Bryan; and a host of great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brother Johnny Wyatt and sister Constance Milam.

Jim worked at Taylor Products for more than 20 years and went on to own and operate Discount Videos. He was also a talented singer and guitarist and loved the outdoors.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, at Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Mark Johnson of the Life Tabernacle Church of Elkhart will officiate and burial will follow at Violett Cemetery in Goshen.

Memorials can be given to the Faith Mission.
