James "Jim" W. Eoff, 55, of Elkhart, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023.

Jim was born on March 14, 1968 in Elkhart, IN to William "Bill" Ellsworth Eoff and Linda L. Jessie.

He is preceded in death by his father, William, on February 13, 2005.

Jim is survived by his mother, Linda (Acie) Jessie of Elkhart; son, James W. Eoff Jr., of Garret, IN; sisters, Cassie Eoff of Elkhart, Gina Perry of Ft. Wayne; Ashley Jessie, Elaine Overton, Angel Jessie and Kaitelyn Jessie; nieces and nephews, David Hiatt, Michael Hiatt II, Thomas Lander, Jr., Breanna (Austin) LeTourneau, Kailee (Trevor) Johnson and Brayden Perry.

Jim was recently a glass cutter at Sherwood in Elkhart. He's worked in many manufacturing plants in the local area including Fiberton Corporation. Jim played the drums in his early years. He was artistic and loved to draw.

Jim had a big personality and enjoyed having conversations with people and he loved to laugh. Most of all, Jim gave the shirt off his own back to anyone in need.

A Celebration of Life Service for Jim will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at New Testament Bible Church, 29718 C.R 18, Elkhart, IN 46517.

Per the family's wishes, he was cremated and burial will be at Prairie Street Cemetery at a later date.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
