ELKHART -- James S. Miller, 33, of Elkhart, died Monday (Jan. 3, 2011) at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Aug. 17, 1977, in Elkhart to Stanley S. and the late Linda (Wise) Miller. He married Elisabeth Joy Whitesell on March 27, 2008, in Elkhart. She survives.
Also surviving are son Dakota Miller of Crawfordsville, father Stanley S. Miller of Elkhart, sister Sherry (William "Bill") Demler of Edwardsburg and nephews Tanis and Camron Demler.
James formerly worked as a bouncer in Fort Wayne. He loved all sports and was a graduate of Wayne High School, Fort Wayne, where he played football his junior and senior years. He was also a member of the ROTC.
Friends may call one hour prior to the 1 p.m. Saturday celebration of life service at Adamsville Road Church of God, 51287 C.R. 7, Elkhart, with Pastor Rob Meckley officiating.
Cremation has taken place. Billings Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements
