ELKHART — James W. Heiser, 60, of Elkhart, passed away at 11:23 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital following a battle with cancer.
James was born on Jan. 28, 1953, in Richland County, Ohio, to the late James Francis and Miriam (Dye) Heiser.
James has no known survivors but made many friends at Golden Living Center, where he was a resident, and at Elkhart General Hospital.
James was a musician for most of his life.
James will be cremated and buried back home in Ohio.
