He was born Dec. 18, 1964, in Hammond to James and Judith (Smith) Carter.

He is survived by a son, Jonathon Carter of Goshen; and a sister, Lynda Carter of Lafayette.

He was preceded in death by a half-brother, Robert Miller.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at 2600 Oakland Ave., Elkhart, with the Rev. Rudy Gourdine officiating. Burial will be at Spring Creek Cemetery, Logansport, at a later date. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is handling arrangements.

Mr. Carter worked as a driver for various trucking companies and was known as "Lone Wolf" on the CB radio.

He was a member of Serenity Hall and enjoyed building computers.
