Obituary
ELKHART -- Robert G. Burr Jr., 50, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 28, 2011, at his home.
He was born on July 12, 1960, in Saginaw, Mich., to the late Robert G. Sr. and Elsie M. (Athey) Burr.
He is survived by a daughter, Hannah Burr of Hicksville, Ohio; brother Joseph (Mandi) Burr of Topeka; and five sisters, Sandy (Rudy) Jackson of Dunnellon, Fla., Barb (Brian) Larson of Milford, Jerri (Spark) Howe of Johannesburg, Mich., Judy Schrock of New Paris and Chrissy (Jerry) Brooks of Elkhart.
Robert was preceded in death by a grandmother, Marie Howe.
No visitation or services have been planned. Cremation has taken place with burial at a later date in Silver Lake Cemetery, Wolverine, Mich.
Mr. Burr was an over-the-road truck driver for many years. He enjoyed stock car racing and collecting model motorcycles.
Memorials may be given to the family.
