MISHAWAKA — James G. Bricker, 88, of Mishawaka, passed away at Memorial Hospital of South Bend on Saturday, May 19, 2018.

James was born Oct. 21, 1929, in Osceola, to the late Alva and Gladys (Walters) Bricker.

He married Mary Alice Young on March 4, 1950.

He worked production at Brunswick Corp. for more than 30 years, retiring in 1993.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Bricker; daughter Jill (Robert) Van Sickle; sisters Zelma Weaver and Sharon Stuber; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and his daughter, Mary Beth Bricker.

James will be cremated, as was his wish.

Arrangements are in the care of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
