James A. "Jim" Clark, 63, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. He was born in Hammond, IN on October 6, 1956 to the late Shirley Scofield.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Clark; son, Jason A. (Christina) Clark; stepson, Bryan Sanders; granddaughter, Makiah Clark; and brothers, Ron Dudley and Terry. He is preceded in death by his mother.

In accordance with Jim's wishes, cremation was chosen and his family plans to have a private gathering of family and friends at a later date. Billings Funeral Home and Altera Cremation Services, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart, IN are in care of arrangements.

Jim lived by the philosophy "Work hard, play hard" and worked as a self-employed construction worker for many years. He also worked in the R.V. industry and modular home repair as well. When Jim was younger, he rode motorcycles and enjoyed the freedom he felt on the open road. When he was not hard at work, he enjoyed spending time and sharing laughs with many of his friends and family. Jim maintained a garden that he grew vegetables in and took great care and pride in making sure they were always properly grown. He will be missed greatly by his loving family and many friends.
