Jacqueline "Jackie" L. Bailey, 80, of Goshen, IN, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Maples of Waterford in Goshen. She was born in Lima, OH on November 19, 1943, to the late Willis H. and Gladys L. Pfeiffer.

Jackie is also preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Middaugh; granddaughter, Amanda Arnett; brother, Gregory W. Pfeiffer; former husband, Robert F. Middaugh; and late husband, Bud U. Bailey. She is survived by her daughters, Amy Arnett and Shannon Middaugh; stepchildren, Mike Bailey, Mary Quaid, and Janie Ostermann; grandchildren, Danny Arnett; and step grandchildren, Amber Bailey, Steven Garber, Marcus Quaid, Patrick Coyne, David Ostermann, and Bailey Jo Ostermann.

In accordance with Jackie's wishes, cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. No services for Jackie will be held at this time.

When Jackie was young, she grew up in Silver Lake with her family and enjoyed hunting for Morel mushrooms with her father. She enjoyed tending to her garden, where she would grow vegetables and surround herself with bright and colorful flowers. In her spare time, Jackie loved bowling with her family and was in a local Elkhart Bowling League for several years. She was a very talented crafter; her specialty was creating beautiful ceramic and stained-glass pieces. However, being a caring and devoted mother and grandmother was what she prided herself on the most. Jackie will be dearly missed by her loving family.
