ELKHART -- Jack B. Denison, 88, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at 1:22 a.m. in Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born in Charlotte, Mich., on July 8, 1922, to Glenn and Gladis (Brown) Denison. He married Mary Jane Clipp on March 19, 1943. They later divorced.

He is survived by one daughter, Jacquline Brick Denison of Baldwin, Mich.; two grandsons, Matthew Brick of Elkhart and Mark Brick of Barbourville, Ky.; and his former spouse, Mary Jane Denison.

Jack was retired from CTS Corp. in Elkhart, where he was a group leader. He served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He was a member of DAV Chapter 19, Indiana FOP and was an Indiana State Police supporter.

Private services have been held for the family. Cremation has taken place with Billings Funeral Home assisting with arrangements.

Memorials may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or the Humane Society of Elkhart County. The Denison and Brick families would like thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers.
