ELKHART: Issabell Elaine Reed, 67, gently departed this life Monday, September 16, at Elkhart General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 4, 1952 in Goshen to the late Mose Edward and Cathryn Blanche (McDonald) Miller. In addition to her parents, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Surviving are her  sons, James E. (Shannon) Reed, Timothy Allen (Stacy) Reed; three grandchildren, whom she adored, Clayton, Payne and Chancellor Reed and a great grandson Bentley Reed and her best friend and sister Tressa A. Miller.

Issabell formerly worked for Godfrey Conveyor, American Millwork and retired from the Indiana Toll Road. She was a member of the Bristol Missionary Church and was an active volunteer with area food banks, including Church Community Services. Issabell was the happiest when she was with family, her grandkids and friends.

Family and friends of Issabell may call for 1 hour prior to the 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2019 Celebration of Life Service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Pastor Rod Holmes will officiate. Per her wishes, cremation was chosen and burial will at a later date at Rowe Cemetery. Memorials are kindly requested to either the Center for Hospice Care or Bristol Missionary Church.
