UPDATE:  Graveside services and burial for Ishmael Hykiesh Porter, 25, of Elkhart, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at Prairie Street Cemetery. Pastor Johnnie Robinson will officiate. Ishmael died May 26, 2019, in South Bend. Billings Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Ishmael Hykiesh Porter, 25, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday May 26, 201 9 at Memorial Hospital of Sou th Bend. He was born on Dec. 18, 1993 in Elkhart to Howard L. Bullocks and Melissa James (Porter) Paul.

Surviving is a son Ishmael H. Porter Jr.; father Howard L. Bullocks, mother Melissa (Duwan) Paul; grandparents, Olden & Sara Bullocks, Carolyn & Eddie James, Debra Porter; brother Damond Paul, sister Damonica Paul, 2 step-brothers, Dashin Kery and Duwan Paul Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.

His grandfather James Porter preceded him in death.

Home going services to begin at Noon Saturday, 6/8/19 with visitation 1 hour prior at Greater Wayside Temple Church of God in Christ. Pastor Johnnie Robinson will officiate.

Ishmael attended Memorial High School. He was a material handler for Lozier in Middlebury. He liked RAP music, B-Ball, loved to eat and was a devoted father, friend and loved by all. Billings Funeral Home is caring for the family.
