Obituary
ELKHART -Irene M. Roberts, 93, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 at Eastlake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Irene was born in Lark, North Dakota on September 17, 1922 to the late William Tecumseh and Louise C. (Peters) Roberts. In addition to her parents, a brother William T. Roberts and sister Lucile A. Roberts preceded her in death.
Surviving are friends, Joe and Dana Eads of Elkhart, and her church family.
She was a graduate of Edwardsburg High School. Irene retired from the Selmer Co. in 1984, after 34 years, where she was a supervisor in the stenographer dept. She was a member of Grace Bible Church. Irene taught Sunday school for most of her adult life for people of all ages. She was still teaching bible studies at Eastlake, until her death.
Friends may call for 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 service to celebrate her life at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart. Pastor Mike Fisher will officiate, with burial to follow at Adamsville Cemetery.
