Irene M. Paul, of Bristol, passed away of natural causes,  Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Eastlake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart, at the age of 96. Irene was born in Cleveland Township, Elkhart Co. on June 23, 1922 to the late John and Goldie May (Smead) Lowell. She married John Worley Paul on April 20, 1943 in Ft. Wayne, John died on December 21, 2016 in Elkhart.

Surviving is a son Charles (Deborah) Paul, her daughter Pam (Wally) Ross; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

Irene was preceded in death by a son Michael L. Paul and her two brothers, Arthur and Louis Lowell.

Irene was a homemaker, member of St. John's and enjoyed gardening, hand embroidery, and wrote her own poetry.

Graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM, Friday, June 14, 2019 at St. John's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Bristol. Mother Jen Fulton will preside. Arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
