She was born Aug. 6, 1941, in Moorefield, Ky., to Ray and Sadie (Goldie) Cassity. On April 18, 1946, she married James A. Crisler. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2001.
She is survived by four sons, Mark Bouwman of Gobles, Mich., Randall E. Crisler, James A. Crisler and Kevin R. Crisler, all of Elkhart; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers, James Cassity of Mishawaka, Floyd (Peggy) Cassity, Edward (Barb) Cassity and Everett Cassity, all of Elkhart, and Ray (Charlene) Cassity of Union, Mich.; and three sisters, Mary Hazel Clem and Elizabeth Roe, both of Paris, Ky., and Phyllis (Randy) Albright of Goshen.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and Billy Cassity.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral services Wednesday at the Church of God, 28082 C.R. 4, Elkhart. The Rev. B.J. Bishop will officiate and interment will take place in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.
Mrs. Crisler was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Elkhart.
