Obituary
SOUTH BEND -- Homer Haggard, 75, formerly of Michigan City, died at 8:20 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 2, 2008) in Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born March 9, 1933, in Danville, Ky., to Homer and Helen (Seawright) Haggard. He married Josephine Clark. She died Dec. 15, 1987, in Michigan City.
Mr. Haggard has no known survivors.
He was a steel worker at Bethlehem Steel from 1969 until he retired in 1993. Mr. Haggard lived in Michigan City until moving to the Elkhart area.
The public is welcome to attend a remembrance service at 10 a.m. Thursday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Burial will follow in Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen.
