ELKHART -- Herbert L. Clark, 76, of Elkhart, passed away April 13, 2011, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 24, 1934, in Elkhart to Fred R. and Lovetta P. (Botts) Clark.

Survivors include four brothers, Bruce (Judy) Clark of Constantine, Mich., and Jerry (Janet) Clark, Bob (Nila) Clark and Danny (Frankie) Clark, all of Elkhart; three sisters, Karen (Harold) Vogelzang of Joppa, Md., and Linda Hawks and Diane Clark, both of Elkhart; and two stepsons, Terry Duncan and Brian McFadden, both of Elkhart.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tom and Carl Clark.

Herb was a veteran of the United States Army. A lifelong resident of Elkhart, he was employed with several local trailer and camper manufacturers prior to his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed making various wooden crafts and spending time fishing.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011, at Grace Bible Church, 54230 C.R. 5, Elkhart, IN 46514. Pastor Mike Fisher will officiate.
