Heather Rachelle Woods, 33, of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

Heather was born on January 22, 1989 to James Lockhart and Sherri L. (Wooten) Lockhart. She was married to Aaron Woods on April 2, 2013. Heather is preceded in death by her mother Sherri L. Lockhart on February 24, 2012.

Heather is survived by her husband, Aaron of Elkhart; children, Brayden and Peyton; the father who raised her, James Lockhart; brothers, Michael Lockhart and Steven Duncan and sister, Britney Duncan.

Heather graduated from Elkhart Memorial High School. She was a stay at home, mother and enjoyed spending time with her family. Heather was quiet and reserved and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family of Heather may gather from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN.
